ALTPARD Resort 2026 – “Ares Garden”

Presented at Medellín Fashion Week – 8th Edition, Jardín Botánico

On a night where the Jardín Botánico turned into a stage of contrasts, ALTPARD unveiled “Ares Garden”, its Resort 2026 collection. Wrapped in smoke, dim lights, and the immersive sound of “Amber Decay” by Kangding Ray, the brand opened the Green Block of Medellín Fashion Week with a show that blended raw strength and delicate sensitivity.

Inspired by the god of war and the fragility of a garden, the collection explored a territory of tension: vulnerability and power, brutalism and poetry, shadows and subtle light. The runway showcased 12 looks that carried ALTPARD’s unmistakable DNA —dark, conceptual, and deeply symbolic.

The Language of the Collection

  • Silhouettes and Cuts
Oversized shapes and structured tailoring met with unexpected openings and deconstructed lines. Blazers with broad shoulders, open-back t-shirts, experimental shirts, and military-inspired shorts revealed a constant dialogue between protection and exposure.

  • Colors and Materials
Black dominated as the core statement, contrasted by touches of white and gray. Fabrics shifted between rigidity and fluidity, satin, cotton, sheer textiles, and subtle glosses, creating a play of light, like sparks of life blooming in a harsh terrain.

  • Details that Define Identity
Combat boots, harnesses, and straps evoked Ares’ military spirit, while elongated sleeves, metallic finishes, and delicate cutouts spoke of vulnerability. This duality -force and fragility- was the collection’s true thread.

A Manifesto on the Runway

More than clothing, “Ares Garden” unfolded like a narrative. The men’s looks embraced sensitivity through glossy tops and revealing cuts, while the women’s pieces leaned into empowerment with structured tailoring and combat footwear.

The contrast was striking: a warlike garden where contradictions bloom. The collection became a reflection of the human condition showing how strength and fragility can live within the same body, the same garment, the same essence.

ALTPARD’s Impact

With “Ares Garden”, ALTPARD reaffirms its place as one of Colombia’s most promising luxury voices —a brand that transforms collections into immersive experiences and poetic statements.

The runway went beyond fashion; it was a visual manifesto on power, sensitivity, and resistance. In a landscape where luxury is often tied only to objects, ALTPARD redefines it as expression, authenticity, and art in motion.

Interesting Facts About the Collection

Interesting Facts About the Collection

  1. The show marked a milestone: the very first runway Sebastian, the designer, attended was also the first he ever presented.

  2. The original collection consisted of 15 looks, but Sebastian made the last-minute decision to narrow it down to 12 to preserve a sharper, more powerful narrative.

  3. The soundtrack changed less than 10 hours before the event due to copyright reasons. The choice of “Amber Decay” ultimately enhanced the atmosphere, creating a more immersive and cohesive experience.

  4. Several pieces from the collection were not shown on the runway, leaving part of the story untold for future reveals.

  5. The taffeta trousers and the shirt with the inverted triangle cut-out on the back were designed at the very last moment, embodying the spontaneous creative energy behind the collection.

  6. Sebastian forgot to prepare his own look for the final bow. With just five minutes to go, he slipped into a pair of combat boots and a graphic ALTPARD T-shirt —a raw and unplanned gesture that perfectly mirrored the spirit of authenticity behind the brand.
