ALTPARD to Debut at Medellín Fashion Week 2025 with Its First Official Runway: “Ares Garden”

Medellín, July 2025 — The conceptual luxury fashion house ALTPARD announces its first appearance at Medellín Fashion Week (MEDFW) with the debut of its runway show “Ares Garden”, set to take place on September 5th at the Jardín Botánico de Medellín, as part of the event’s eighth edition.

Founded by designer and creative director Sebastián Medina Rendón, ALTPARD has established itself as a brand that merges art, symbolism, and design, with a vision that transcends traditional fashion. Inspired by the star Alphard—at the heart of the Hydra constellation—and the panther as a symbol of transformation, the brand represents a universe where mystery, solitude, and reinvention converge.

“Ares Garden” is a visual and aesthetic exploration of the tension between war and beauty. The collection strikes a balance between the military and the poetic, combining structured cuts, disciplined silhouettes, and robust materials with elements that evoke freedom, sensitivity, and nature. Its name references the Greek god of war, Ares, alongside the softness of a garden—two opposing forces that embody the dualities of contemporary existence: strength and fragility, order and chaos.

Comprising around 12 looks, the collection incorporates references to futurism, punk aesthetics, and a symbolic language deeply rooted in the brand’s narrative universe. Each garment is conceived as a visual manifesto—a declaration of identity and an invitation to transform the way we dress and perceive ourselves.

“ALTPARD has always been about rebellion, mutation, and contrast. In ‘Ares Garden’ I take military aesthetics as a foundation and subvert them: I turn discipline into freedom, rigidity into asymmetry. Because power does not only reside in force or structure—it also exists in vulnerability, in sensitivity, in transformation.”
